Piedmont Atlanta Hospital is seeking a Central Sterile Technician to maintain standards for set assembly, decontamination, inspection, and sterilization of instruments. You will collaborate with Perioperative Nursing staff to provide sterile instrument sets and case carts promptly, ensuring efficient workflow and outstanding service.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, CST certification preferred, or 3 years of Central Sterile experience in lieu of CST.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Graduate of a Central Sterile Tech program or CST certification preferred.
• Alternate qualification: 3 years Central Sterile experience in lieu of CST certificate.

Responsibilities

• Maintains standards for set assembly, decontamination, inspection, containerizing and sterilizing surgical instruments.
• Collaborates with Perioperative Nursing staff to provide sterile instrument sets, equipment and case carts in a timely manner.
