Job summary

Mayo Clinic is seeking a Sterile Processing Technician to clean, disinfect, and distribute sterile and non-sterile supplies. You will follow documented policies, monitor quality, and participate in continuous improvement while maintaining a clean, safe work environment.

The role requires a High School diploma, English literacy, and CRCST certification within 18 months of hire; on-the-job training is provided, with potential advancement after certification. Night shifts are included.

Qualifications

• Must read, write, and understand English.
• On-the-job training provided to develop required skills.
• Stand/walk during shifts; up to 46 pounds may be pushed/lifted.

Responsibilities

• Clean, disinfect, prepare, process and distribute sterile and non-sterile supplies and equipment.
• Maintain expertise and monitor quality and the environment; participate in continuous improvement.
• Complete other duties as assigned.
