Job summary

Wellstar Health System in Georgia is seeking a part-time Sterile Processing Technician for weekend shifts ( Sat & Sun, 6a-6p ). You will ensure instruments meet high quality and safety standards, processing and packaging supplies for the operating room and central sterile areas.

Requirements include a High School diploma or GED, at least 1 year of sterile processing experience, CRCST/CSPDT certifications, and strong attention to detail with good English and basic computer skills.

Qualifications

• CRCST or CSPDT certification preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of sterile processing experience.
• Fluent English communication and basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Clean, decontaminate, and sterilize instruments and equipment.
• Prepare packs and wraps for sterilization and storage.
• Operate sterilizers and monitor equipment for safety and QA.
• Restock trays and supplies and track inventory.
• Coordinate with OR staff to prioritize workloads.
