Olathe Health System, Inc. seeks a Part-time Sterile Processing Technician at Olathe Hospital.

Under the Sterile Processing Manager, you decontaminate, assemble and sterilize instrumentation for the operating room and ancillary areas according to regulatory and internal standards. You will provide customer-focused service to health system staff, leadership, medical staff and patients/visitors, ensuring quality documentation and a clean, safe work environment.

Qualificações

• High School Graduate or GED.
• Sterile Processing Technician or Surgical Technologist experience or enrollment or completion of a Sterile Processing Certification or Surgical Tech program.

Responsabilidades

• Decontaminates, assembles and sterilizes instrumentation per national guidelines and internal standards.
• Operates department equipment within guidelines and procedures.
• Maintains high quality control with thorough documentation of sterilization process.
• Prioritizes and communicates customer needs within the department and with customers.
• Maintains a clean and safe work environment.
• Identifies instrumentation and equipment used across departments.
• Performs other duties as assigned by Supervisor or Manager in Sterile Processing.
• Performs the professional, clinical and technical competencies of the assigned unit.
• Other duties as required by department.
