Job summary

Licking Memorial Health Systems (LMHS) is a nonprofit health system dedicated to improving the health of our community. This role supports operating rooms and related services by ensuring sterile processing and accurate documentation.

Under supervision, you will clean, sterilize, reprocess equipment, manage supplies, and assist with instrument locations and transport. CPR and Sterile Processing Certification, plus a high school diploma, are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Read, write, and follow verbal or written instructions.
• CPR Certification.
• Sterile Processing Certification.
• LMHS accreditation and annual education related to specialty certifications and standards may be required.

Responsibilities

• Clean, sterilize, reprocess, and wrap all equipment for Operating Room, Labor & Delivery, Med Surg units, Endo Diagnostic Lab, Emergency Room, Urgent Care facilities and physician practices.
• Document on sterilization records
• Check in all daily supplies and put away accordingly
• Assist OR staff with instrument locations and transport
• Prepare supply orders for surgical byers
• Flush eyewash stations and maintain logs
