Mayo Clinic is hiring a Sterile Processing Technician in Minnesota. You will clean, package, and sterilize instruments for surgeries, ensuring OR staff have ready tools for procedures. Training is provided and no prior healthcare experience is required.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years old prior to start date.
• Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods and use a full range of body motion.
• Must be able to lift and/or move more than 25 pounds.
• Must be able to use required personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Certification as CRCST within 18 months of hire is required; training provided.

Responsibilities

• Clean, package, and sterilize surgical instruments and equipment.
• Inspect and assemble instruments for procedures.
• Prepare and deliver supplies to operating room staff.
• Maintain inventory and organize storage areas.
• Operate sterilization equipment (training provided).
• Use computer systems to track instruments and sterilization processes.
