Job summary

No prior healthcare experience is required; comprehensive, paid on-the-job training and mentorship are provided.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age prior to start date.
• Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods and use a full range of body motion throughout the shift.
• Must be able to lift and/or move more than 25 pounds.
• Must be able to use required personal protective equipment (PPE).
• CRCST certification within 18 months of hire; training provided; exam costs covered; pay increase upon certification.

Responsibilities

• Clean, package, and sterilize surgical instruments and equipment.
• Inspect and assemble instruments for procedures.
• Prepare and deliver supplies to operating room staff.
• Maintain inventory and organize storage areas.
• Operate sterilization equipment, such as autoclaves and instrument washers (training provided).
• Use computer systems to track instruments and sterilization processes.
