Job summary

Good Samaritan Medical Center is seeking a sterile processing technician to support our operation during the night shift. You will sterilize and decontaminate instruments, ensure sterile supplies are available for patient care, and help monitor inventory to meet unit needs.

The role requires a high school diploma and certification as a central service technician or the ability to obtain certification within one year, plus strong attention to detail and English fluency.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Certified Central Service Technician or certification within one year is required.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic (add/subtract/multiply/divide).

Responsibilities

• Perform sterilization and decontamination procedures to ensure instrument readiness for patient care.
• Maintain supplies and equipment for use in patient care.
• Monitor inventory to ensure patient needs are met.
• Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned.
