Job summary

BayCare Health System's Sterile Processing department at Morton Plant is hiring a Full Time Sterile Processing Technician (Noncert). You will decontaminate, prep, package and sterilize instrumentation following department procedures.

The role serves as a preceptor and mentor to team members, supports the department's sterilization workflow, and requires High School or Equivalent with certification within 24 months of hire. On-site shift 8:30am-5:00pm, every 3rd weekend, on-call.

Qualifications

• High School or Equivalent.
• Certified Sterile Processing Tech.
• Hospital Experience.
• Must become certified within 24 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the decontamination, prepping, packaging and sterilization of all instrumentation processed through the department following established department procedures.
• Acts as preceptor, mentor and resource in support of department team members.
