Job summary

MultiCare Yakima Memorial Hospital is seeking a Central Service Technician to support the health care team by cleaning, sterilizing and packaging instruments, maintaining inventory, and transporting supplies.

This role requires a high school diploma and completion of a central service technician course or healthcare training; CRCST certification and one year of experience are preferred; certification within one year is encouraged.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required or preferred.
• Completion of Central Service Technician course or healthcare training; military training acceptable.
• CRCST certification preferred.
• Minimum one year of related experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Clean, sterilize and package instruments.
• Maintain instrument inventory.
• Transport supplies and equipment as needed.
• Work under supervision in a team-oriented environment.
