Job summary

MultiCare Covington Medical Center seeks a Central Service Technician to support the sterile processing team in a hospital setting. You will clean, sterilize, and package instruments, maintain inventory and transport supplies under supervision, prioritizing tasks and patient care needs. This is an 0.8 FTE, evening shift role.

Preferred candidates have a HS diploma, CS technician training, and CRCST certification or progress toward it, plus related experience.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent preferred.
• Completion of Central Service Technician course of study or healthcare organization training; WA Title 18 RCW applies.
• In lieu of formal training, CRCST certification and/or a minimum of one year of recent sterile processing experience preferred.
• Central Service Certification or commitment to obtain within one year of hire, as required by location.
• Minimum one year of related experience preferred.
