Duly Health and Care in Westmont, IL is seeking a Sterile Processing Technician. The role focuses on preparing surgical instruments per AAMI standards and maintaining sterility, inventory, and equipment readiness for OR cases.

The position operates Monday through Friday, 12:00 PM to 8:30 PM with full-time scheduling and competitive benefits. Candidates should have a Sterile Processing Certificate and BLS, with prior instrument processing experience.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• Instrument technician experience, 2 years or equivalent experience.
• Certified Sterile Processing Certificate required.
• Current Basic Cardiac Life Support Certification.
• Knowledge of aseptic technique and sterilization principles.

Responsabilités

• Organize time, equipment, and supplies for the OR based on the daily schedule.
• Use instruments correctly to prevent damage or loss during handling.
• Ensure aseptic techniques per standard practice.
• Assist in inventory management of instrument room, decontamination room, and sterile supply room.
• Perform daily sterilizer testing and maintain sterilization logs.
• Follow IFUs for cleaning and sterilization of instruments.
