Job summary

Responsibilities

• Performs general and specialized instrument care duties.
• Provides supplies as needed for surgical procedures.
• Disassembles and cleans critical reusable medical equipment per Manufacturer’s Instructions For Use (MIFU).
• Inspects, packages, and reassembles instruments and trays per priority.
• Performs various sterilization techniques (HLDR, Pre-Vacuum, Gravity, Hydrogen Peroxide Plasma) per MIFUs.
• Maintains records and document control per SOPs and regulatory guidance.
• Interacts with patients and staff with privacy respect and effective communication.
• Performs other related duties as required.
