Job summary

Medical University Hospital Authority (MUHA) seeks a Sterile Processing Technician to decontaminate, clean, inspect, assemble, package, process and sterilize instruments for the operating room and other departments. Completion of an approved Sterile Processing Tech Program and CRCST or CBSPD certification is required, along with at least one year of sterile processing

Qualifications

• Completion of approved Sterile Processing Tech Program and CRCST - HSPA or CBSPD certification.
• Minimum of one year of sterile processing experience, preferably in a hospital or surgical setting.

Responsibilities

• Decontaminate, clean, inspect, assemble, package, process and sterilize instruments.
• Support physicians and surgical teams in operating rooms and other departments.
• Maintain compliance with medical center policies, procedures and regulations to ensure patient safety.
