Job summary

Children’s Hospital of Orange County is seeking a Sterile Processing Technician II to perform decontamination, prep/assembly, sterilization, and distribution of trays and sets in the sterile processing department. Qualifications

• Minimum two years of Sterile Processing experience.
• Certification from IAHCSMM or CBSPD required.
• IAHCSMM or CBSPD certification within one year of hire.

Responsibilities

• Decontamination, preparation/assembly, sterilization, and distribution of trays and sets.
• Maintain sterilization logs and instrument tracking system.
• Provide excellent customer service to internal customers.
• Perform routine cleaning and maintenance of department equipment.
