Job summary

Mercy is seeking a Sterile Processing Instrument Technician II for the Evening shift. You will follow established decontamination, processing, high level disinfection and sterilization procedures, ensuring documentation is accurate in logs or systems.

You will prioritize instruments, handle phone dispatches, and support the Sterile Processing Department in a fast-paced hospital setting. The role requires CRCST or CSPDT certification, a high school diploma or GED, and at least 6 months of sterile

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• CRCST or CSPDT certification required.
• Minimum 6 months experience in Sterile Processing or 400 hours of hands-on experience.

Responsibilities

• Clean, inspect, and assemble instruments for Decontamination, Processing, High Level Disinfection or Sterilization.
• Maintain documentation of processes in logs or computer systems.
• Prioritize instrumentation for processing and support dispatch of instrumentation, equipment, and supplies.
