Job summary

MultiCare Health System is seeking a Central Service Technician II to support the total health care team by cleaning, sterilizing, and packaging instruments, maintaining inventory and transporting supplies. This is a full‑time evening shift with a Monday to Friday schedule and rotating holiday call.

The role requires a high school diploma (or equivalent), CST-related training or military training, and ideally CRCST certification.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent required.
• Completion of Central Service Technician course of study or healthcare organization training; military training acceptable per WA state employee rules.
• Nationally recognized certification (e.g., CRCST) and/or 1 year of recent sterile processing experience preferred.
• Central Service Certification or commitment to obtain within one year of hire, as required by location.
• Minimum one year of related experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Clean, sterilize, and package instruments.
• Maintain inventory of supplies and equipment.
• Transport supplies and equipment as needed.
• Work under supervision with a service-oriented approach.
