Job summary

Boston Medical Center is seeking a Central Processing Technician II responsible for decontamination, sterilization, and distribution of medical supplies. The role requires a high school diploma and certification as a CRCST or CSPDT, with at least one year of experience in a similar position.

The technician will manage inventory levels, assist with training junior technicians, and may have evening and weekend shifts. A comprehensive compensation and benefits package is offered.

Qualifications

• Certification as a Certified Registered Central Sterile Technician (CRCST) or Central Sterile Professional Department Technician (CSPDT).
• At least one year of experience in decontamination and packaging of sterile instruments.

Responsibilities

• Decontaminate, package, sterilize, and distribute medical/surgical supplies.
• Manage case cart/inventory and maintain supply levels for operating rooms.
• Train junior technicians as needed.
• Be flexible for on-call rotation.
