Job summary

MultiCare Deaconess Hospital in Spokane, WA is hiring a Central Service Technician II to clean, sterilize, and package instruments, maintain inventory, and transport supplies. You will work as part of a collaborative team under supervision, handling routine tasks with a service orientation.

Evening shift, Monday–Friday, 3:00 pm–11:30 pm with weekend rotation about every six weeks; requires a HS diploma, CST training or healthcare program, and certification within one year if required by location.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent preferred.
• Completion of Central Service Technician course or healthcare organization training program as required by location.
• Nationally recognized certification (e.g., CRCST) and/or a minimum of one year of sterile processing experience preferred.
• Central Service Certification or commitment to obtain within one year of hire, as required by location.
• Minimum one year of related experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Clean, sterilize, and package instruments according to procedure.
• Maintain instrument and supply inventory for the department.
• Transport sterile supplies and equipment to patient care areas.
• Work under supervision with a cooperative, service-oriented approach.
