Job summary

Kaiser Permanente in Seattle's Capitol Hill Main Building is seeking a Central Service Technician II. Under supervision, you will support inventory, decontamination, sterilization, and assembly of surgical devices and reusable instruments to ensure safe patient care.

This full-time, onsite role offers a structured work flow, a 40-hour schedule, shift details, and SEIU contract benefits including location premium and certification pay.

Qualifications

• Minimum one (1) year of experience with C.S., O.R. instrumentation reprocessing.
• High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED) required.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate knowledge of the KFHPW Mission and the supportive role of the CSR Department and staff in contributing to accomplishment of KFHPWs customer service, clinical and financial goals.
• Identify unsafe conditions/practice.
• Must be familiar with and practice safety, infection control and employee health policies and standards.
• Identify own education needs and complete all mandatory training.
• Participate in error reporting and correction and continuous improvement of system processes and staff and department performance.
• Deliver, pick up and receive reusable instruments and equipment assuring items are complete and handled to prevent damage or loss.
