Job summary

Bronson Battle Creek is hiring a Central Services Technician II for sterile processing. You will decontaminate, assemble, sterilize, store, and dispense surgical instruments while upholding infection control and aseptic techniques.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, 2 years in reprocessing, and certification (CRCST or CSPDT). The role requires reading schedules, strong communication, math, and ability to lift up to 50 pounds; 40-hour weeks, 2nd shift with a sign-on bonus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2 years of experience in a reprocessing/sterilization department.
• CRCST or CSPDT certification required.

Responsibilities

• Decontaminate, assemble, sterilize, store and dispense surgical instrumentation.
• Demonstrate infection control and aseptic technique knowledge.
• Identify disposable items needed for surgical cases and respond to OR/clinical needs.
• Report to manager and collaborate with surgery staff.
• Maintain HIPAA and protect patient information.
• Rotate to all Sterile Processing/CS department areas.
• Provide technical support to related departments as needed.
