Location: Salem Hospital, 890 Oak Street SE, Salem, Oregon 97301
Department: Sterile Processing
Position Type: Full Time, 40 hours/week, Non-Exempt
Schedule: 9:00 pm - 7:30 am, four 10-hour shifts, Monday - Thursday

What you’ll do
  • Decontaminate and prepare items following departmental standards and equipment guidelines.
  • Prepare items for sterilization using correct procedures, indicators, and labels.
  • Operate and maintain sterilizers, ensuring proper function and reporting maintenance issues.
  • Assemble and prepare case carts efficiently and independently.
  • Handle and organize surgical trays, instruments, and drills for proper assembly.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment, identifying and addressing safety hazards.
Required qualifications
  • Must hold either a current Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST) certification or a current Certified Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician (CSPDT) certification.
