Job summary

Under supervision, the role performs sterile processing duties including decontamination, packaging, sterilization, storage, and inventorying of medical devices. Requires high school diploma and at least one year in a hospital-related field; on-campus work modality.

Qualifications

• High school graduation or equivalent; courses in sciences and mathematics.

Responsibilities

• Decontaminates, inspects, cleans, and repackages complex instrument trays; operates endoscope washers; performs sterilization and documentation.
• Assembles instrument trays in timeframes and documents missing items; handles high-volume of calls for items as needed.
• Performs inventory management and monitors stock levels; conducts biological monitoring of sterilizers; ensures quality assurance.
