Job summary

Advocate Health in Illinois is seeking a Sterile Processing Technician for a full-time night shift. The role involves packaging, sterilization, inventory, and case-cart assembly across MOR, ASC, and L&D areas.

Candidates should have a high school diploma; healthcare experience is preferred and strong communication, organizational, and computer skills are essential. Hours are 11PM-7:30AM with rotating holidays and weekends.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; healthcare experience preferred.
• Ability to communicate and follow directions; good computer skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a sterile environment.

Responsibilities

• Package/wrap items for terminal sterilization and verify cycles using indicators.
• Maintain BI logs and load records; release loads for storage or use.
• Inventory storage and distribution; ensure proper shelving and FIFO rotation.
• Assemble case carts and scan instruments for MOR, ASC, and L&D units.
