Job summary

UChicago Medicine AdventHealth in Hinsdale, IL seeks a Full-Time Sterile Processing Technician for the night shift (11pm–7am). You will select materials, ensure proper packaging, operate sterilization equipment, and verify indicators to maintain aseptic safety standards.

Requires CRCST or CSPDT certification and a high school diploma. Technical/vocational training is preferred; BLS is a plus. Opportunities for care, development, and well-being resources are offered.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Technical or vocational training preferred.
• CRCST or CSPDT certification required; BLS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Selects appropriate materials and sterilization packaging for each instrument set.
• Operates complex sterilization equipment and selects correct sterilization method.
• Reviews and signs sterilizer recording charts to verify parameters before release.
• Other duties as assigned.
