Norton Healthcare, Inc. is offering Sterile Processing Tech roles across five area hospitals in the Louisville area. You will decontaminate, process, sterilize and distribute supplies while following hospital protocols and central sterile standards.

Opportunities to learn and grow, with pathways to CIS/CRCST/CSPDT certification within the first two years and exam within the first 12 months of employment. Entry may lead to Senior roles with experience in Sterile Processing or Surgical Tech

Formación

Must obtain CIS, CRCST or CSPDT within the first two years of employment; must sit for the exam within 12 months.
Senior role requires three years of experience in Sterile Processing/Central Service or three years as Surgical Tech; certification CIS/CRCST/CSPDT.
Desirable: 1 year Sterile Processing/Central Service or 1 year as OR tech; High School Diploma or GED; CHL and CER certifications.

Responsabilidades

Perform decontamination, processing, sterilization and distribution of supplies and equipment for the entire hospital.
Follow established hospital protocols, policies, procedures and central sterile standards within a team environment with strong attention to detail and effective communication.
