Job summary

United Surgical Partners International Inc (USPI) in Houston is seeking a Sterile Processing Technician who will be responsible for caring and maintaining all surgical instruments and setting up supplies for surgery cases.

The ideal candidate will have experience in sterile processing, certification in the Sterile Process Certification Program, and the ability to communicate effectively with staff and patients. This role requires knowledge of sterilization processes and instruments used in the operating room.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of Sterile Processing experience.
• Knows operating room instrumentation.
• Understands operation of steam/gravity sterilizer and Sterrad sterilizers.

Responsibilities

• Care and maintenance of all surgical instrumentation.
• Setup of supplies and instruments for surgery cases.
• Preparation of reports and record-keeping.

Skills
