Job summary

You will work under AORN, AAMI, Joint Commission, and APIC standards to ensure instrument sterility and patient safety. You will rotate through stations to learn all aspects of sterile processing, participate in instrument preparation,

Qualifications

• Less than 1 year of applicable experience.

Responsibilities

• Process and sterilize patient care supplies, instruments and equipment per standards.
• Assemble instrument sets and surgery trays using count sheets.
• Verify function and integrity of instruments.
• Label instruments correctly and return to proper location.
• Maintain patient safety and support department efficiencies.
