Job summary

White Oak Medical Center is hiring an experienced Sterile Processing Tech for the Central and Sterile Processing department. The role supports disassembly, cleaning, sterilization, and storage of instruments and supplies, following aseptic procedures.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, 1 year in sterile processing, certification from an accredited organization, and BLS from American Heart Association. Evening shift with 40 hours weekly and weekend rotation.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• At least 1 year experience in a Sterile Processing department preferred.
• Certification from an accredited organization.
• Active American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Responsibilities

• Disassembles, cleans, sterilizes, and stores instruments and supplies per aseptic procedures.
• Maintains department inventory and processes equipment requests and patient charge records.
