Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Able to communicate in English fluently (written and verbal).
• Certified central service technician or certification acquired within two (2) years; 15+ yrs experience in lieu of certification acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Performs decontamination procedure according to policy.
• Performs sterilization procedure according to departmental policy.
• Maintains logbooks, inventory, and trays; supports clerical functions.
• Maintains Patient care Equipment.
• Provides professional leadership and direction to staff.
