Lakeview Hospital is seeking a Sterile Processing Tech to clean, decontaminate, and sterilize all instruments for the OR and other departments. You will document sterilization processes and monitor autoclaves to ensure instrument readiness for procedures.

The role requires a high school diploma and completion of CSPDT or CRCST within one year. Strong computer skills are necessary to manage records and interfacing with vendors for maintenance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• CSPDT or CRCST certification must be obtained within one year of hire date.
• Basic computer skills required to complete records and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Clean, decontaminate, and sterilize all instrumentation and equipment for the OR and other departments.
• Complete and maintain records pertinent to the sterilization process.
• Monitor autoclaves and arrange for maintenance as needed.
• Coordinate with repair vendors to ensure instrument integrity.
