Job summary

Adventist HealthCare's White Oak Medical Center is hiring a Sterile Processing Tech for the Central and Sterile Processing department. The role supports aseptic techniques and accurate handling of instruments and trays in a hospital setting.

The position requires a High School Diploma or GED, at least 1 year of Sterile Processing experience, and certification from an accredited organization. BLS certification is required. Work schedule is 5 x 8hr shifts (3pm-11pm), full-time, on-site in Maryland.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of Sterile Processing experience preferred.
• Certification from an accredited organization required.
• Active American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

Responsibilities

• Disassembles, cleans, assembles, sterilizes and stores procedure trays, instruments, equipment and supplies according to procedures and aseptic techniques.
• Assists in maintaining department inventory and processing patient charge records.
