Job summary

OhioHealth is seeking a Sterile Processing Technician (Non-Certified) to support decontamination, cleaning and sterilization of general and specialty surgical instruments, endoscopes and power equipment. You will prepare, package and monitor sterilization processes while maintaining records and supporting operating rooms and external customers.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree, High School or GED (Required). CRCST - Certified Registered Central Service Technician.

Responsibilities

• Decontaminate, disinfect and clean various reusable surgical instruments using mechanical or handwashing methods.
• Demonstrate knowledge of sterilization processes for steam and chemical methods including documentation and indicators.
• Enter, modify and retrieve data in the instrument tracking system and assist with case preparation.
