HCA Houston Healthcare Pearland in Pearland, TX, is seeking a Sterile Processing Technician (PRN) to ensure every instrument is properly cleaned, sterilized, and ready for surgeries. You will work with nurses and surgeons to support safe, efficient procedures.

This role requires Basic Life Support within 30 days, a High School diploma, and CRCST or CSPDT certification within two years. We offer comprehensive benefits and a celebration of teamwork in a community hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• High School Graduate / GED.
• (CRCST) Certified Registered Central Service Technician, or (CSPDT) Cert Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician must be obtained within 2 years of employment start date.

Responsabilités

• Cleaning, disinfecting, sterilizing, and organizing surgical instruments and supplies following safety standards
• Monitoring sterilization cycles, documenting results, and resolving issues promptly to deliver on our commitment to safe, high-quality care
• Preparing and organizing instrument trays and surgical rooms based on the daily schedule and procedural needs
• Safely handling and disposing of biohazardous materials while keeping the work area clean and organized
• Working closely with nurses and surgeons to anticipate needs and support smooth, efficient surgeries
