Job summary

Camp Lowell Surgery Center, part of United Surgical Partners International, is seeking a Sterile Processing Tech in Tucson, AZ. The role focuses on maintaining and preparing surgical instruments for cases in a fast-paced outpatient setting.

Qualified candidates will have a high school diploma and 1–2 years of sterile processing experience, with certification preferred. A strong familiarity with OR instrumentation and medical terminology is essential for success.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• 1–2 years of sterile processing experience.
• Completion of a Sterile Processing Certification program is preferred.
• Experience with all types of sterilizers.
• Knowledge of operating room instrumentation and procedures.
• Familiarity with medical terminology and departmental supply items.
• Ability to quickly adapt to changing patient conditions.

Responsibilities

• Maintains and cares for all surgical instruments.
• Prepares supplies and instruments for surgery cases.
