Job summary

SurgCenter Tucson, part of United Surgical Partners International, is hiring a Sterile Processing Technician to support our surgical team by maintaining instruments and preparing supplies for cases. This on-site role offers collaboration with a dedicated clinical team in a patient-focused environment.

You will work with a variety of sterilizers and OR instrumentation, with preferred experience and a Sterile Processing Certification, helping ensure the highest standards of safety and efficiency

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of Sterile Processing experience.
• Completion of a Sterile Process Certification program preferred.
• Experience with all types of sterilizers and familiarity with OR instrumentation.

Responsibilities

• Maintains and cares for all surgical instruments.
• Prepares supplies and instruments for surgery cases.

Sterile Processing Tech atSurgCenter Tucson

The Sterile Processing Technician maintains and cares for all surgical instruments. Prepares supplies and instruments for surgery cases.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Minimum of 1-2 years of Sterile Processing experience
• Completion of a Sterile Process Certification program is preferred
• Experience with all types of sterilizers
• Knowledge of operating room instrumentation and procedures
• Familiarity with medical terminology and departmental supply items
• Ability to quickly adapt to changing conditions of the patient when needed
