Job summary

Carondelet Holy Cross Hospital in Nogales, AZ is seeking a Sterile Processing Technician to perform task-based sterile processing activities, including decontamination, assembly, and sterilization of surgical instrumentation. You will support the surgical team and ensure timely case carts and supplies.

Qualifications include a High School diploma or GED and BLS with IAHCSMM/CBSPD certification; 1 year of experience in sterile processing is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• BLS certification and IAHCSMM or CBSPD certification required.
• At least 1 year of sterile processing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Decontamination, assembly, and sterilization of surgical instrumentation including various software applications.
• Assembly and delivery of surgical and interventional procedure case carts.
• Paring and replenishment of materials.
• Collaborate with surgical partners to provide accurate and complete instrumentation and supplies.
• Other duties as assigned.
