Job summary

Center for Advanced Gastroenterology Surgery Center, LLC is seeking a Per Diem Sterile Processing Technician to maintain and care for surgical instruments and prepare supplies for surgery cases. The role requires 1–2 years of Sterile Processing experience and familiarity with medical terminology and OR instrumentation.

A Sterile Process Certification is preferred. This per diem position offers the opportunity to contribute to our ambulatory surgery center’s high standards of care and efficiency

Qualifications

High School Diploma or Equivalent.
Minimum of 1-2 years of Sterile Processing experience.
Completion of a Sterile Process Certification program is preferred.
Experience with all types of sterilizers.
Knowledge of operating room instrumentation and procedures.
Familiarity with medical terminology and departmental supply items.
Ability to quickly adapt to changing conditions of the patient when needed.

Responsibilities
