• CRCST or CBSPD certification required.

Responsibilities

• Supervises and schedules daily activities of central sterile staff, ensuring quality and productivity.
• Trains staff on sterile processing procedures and provides guidance.
• Develops unit schedules; consults with management on operations, productivity and quality improvements.
• Oversees sterile supply inventory and routine maintenance/calibration of equipment.
• Identifies equipment performance issues and determines need for service/repair.
• Contributes to process improvements and participates in personnel decisions.
