Job summary

Hartford HealthCare is seeking a Sterile Processing Services Supervisor to oversee decontamination, sterilization, and case cart assembly across the department. You will lead the SPS team, manage instrument availability, and ensure regulatory readiness in a fast-paced hospital environment.

In this role, you will collaborate with peri-operative services, drive LEAN daily management practices, and mentor staff to uphold high quality standards.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• 3+ years of Sterile Processing Services required.
• Current CBSPD or Healthcare Sterile Processing Services (HSPA) certification required.
• Must be able to read, write, and speak English.

Responsibilities

• Oversee SPS operations including decontamination, sterilization, and case cart assembly.
• Manage inventory and instrument availability to support next-day cases.
• Maintain logs and regulatory readiness for Sterile Processing Services equipment.
• Collaborate with peri-operative services and quality councils.
