Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Oversees the activities of central supply staff regarding stocking and furnishing of sterile and non-sterile supplies and equipment.
• Develops standards of performance, evaluates performance, and conducts performance management planning.
• Ensures compliance with hospital policies, governmental and accreditation regulations.
• Creates policies and procedures for inventory control and issuance of supplies and equipment.
• Directs requisitioning, sorting, labeling, and issuing of equipment.
• Oversees sterilization, assembly and storage of medical supplies and equipment.
• Participates in committees and quality improvement teams.
