Ascension is seeking a leader for the Cardiac Operating Room support services in Nashville. You will oversee decontamination, assembly and sterilization of instruments, ensure proper case cart preparation, and drive quality improvements and audit outcomes with a focus on productivity.

Responsibilities include hiring, training and evaluating staff to maintain high standards of patient safety and workflow efficiency within a day shift, full-time schedule at Ascension Saint Thomas West.

Qualifikationen

• Knowledge of AAMI standards for sterilization.
• Experience with case cart preparation and inventory standards.

What Minimum Requirements You’ll Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration

• Required Credential(s):
  • One or more of the following:
    • Central Service Tech specializing in Sterile Processing credentialed from the Certification Board for Sterile Processing and Distribution (CBSPD) obtained within 12 Months (1 year) of hire date or job transfer date.
    • Central Service Tech specializing in Sterile Processing credentialed from the Healthcare Sterile Processing Association obtained within 12 Months (1 year) of hire date or job transfer date.

Education

• High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree with 1 year of experience OR 5 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
