Your role with us
Play a key leadership role in ensuring the sterile processing team has the tools, training and support needed to deliver safe, high-quality patient care every day. As a sterile processing department (SPD) supervisor, you will guide daily operations by overseeing staff, coordinating schedules, resolving operational challenges and partnering with operating room teams to ensure instruments and equipment are available when needed. Lead department education and competency development by onboarding new team members, coordinating continuing education and fostering a culture of safety, compliance and continuous improvement. Manage instrument tracking systems, support equipment purchasing and repairs and monitor sterilization processes to maintain regulatory standards and operational excellence. This role offers the opportunity to mentor others, strengthen cross-department collaboration and make a meaningful impact on surgical outcomes by ensuring caregivers have reliable, properly processed instruments when they need them most.
