Job summary

MultiCare Tacoma General Hospital in Tacoma, WA is hiring a Certified Central Service Technician to sterilize, clean and package instruments, maintain inventory and transport supplies. The role requires flexibility for nights and weekend rotation as part of a team.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent preferred.
• Completion of Central Service Technician course of study or healthcare organization training program; military training or experience satisfies this requirement for WA state employees, per Title 18 RCW.
• In lieu of formal training, candidates with a nationally recognized certification (e.g., CRCST) and/or a minimum of one year of recent sterile processing experience preferred.
• Central Service Certification or commitment to obtain within one year of hire, as required by location.
• Minimum one year of related experience preferred.
