Job summary

Overlake Hospital is seeking a Certified Sterile Processing Technician for the Sterile Processing Department. The technician will perform decontamination, assembly, packaging, and sterilization of instruments and trays and help develop systems under the shift supervisor.

This part-time night shift runs Friday through Sunday, 6pm to 6:30am, 36 hours per week. Requires CRCST or CBSPD certification within one year and a high school diploma; prior experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• CRCST or CBSPD certification required.
• Surgical Processing Technician Course completion strongly preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English (oral and written).

Responsibilities

• Decontaminate, assemble, package, and sterilize all reprocessed items and equipment.
• Prepare full surgical instrument trays and related power equipment.
• Develop and maintain systems and projects under the direction of the shift supervisor.
