Job summary

The Asante Manager of Sterile Processing Services oversees SPS activities and Linen services, ensuring efficient, compliant operations and strong stakeholder relations. It includes budgeting, performance improvement, and staff supervision at Asante Rogue Regional Medical Center.

Required is an SPS background with leadership experience, plus an associate degree or higher in health care administration or related field; CSPDT/CRCST/CSPDS certifications are expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of recent SPS experience in a health care setting similar to the Asante Health System.
• Two or more years in a management position with responsibilities across communication, operations, productivity, quality, HR, finance and customer relations.
• Certifications in sterile processing are required or preferred: CSPDT, CRCST or CSPDS.

Responsibilities

• Create a culture of staff self-development and ongoing learning with defined qualifications and performance expectations.
• Communicate and implement the organization’s strategic direction in line with mission, vision, and values.
• Encourage feedback from internal and external customers to monitor service, identify problems, and meet needs.
• Develop and monitor annual operating budgets and capital plans to support profitability and resource management.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and implement them across the SPS area.
