Job summary

Endeavor Health is seeking a Sterile Processing Quality Review Tech for the mid shift across multiple hospital sites in Illinois. The role includes ensuring compliance with Joint Commission/OSHA/AORN/AAMI standards and coordinating staff education during training and orientation.

The position requires a CSPDT or CRCST certification and 2 years of sterile processing experience, with some travel between Elmhurst, Edward, Skokie, Glenview, Evanston, Glenview sites as needed.

Qualifications

• Education: Highschool or GED required
• Bachelor's Degree Preferred
• Certification: CSPDT or CRCST
• Experience: 2 years’ experience in health care sterile processing and in project management and staff education

Responsibilities

• Ensures daily operational compliance with standards from Joint Commission, OSHA, AORN, AAMI and state/local ordinances
• Assists in coordinating and monitoring staff education, training and orientation
• Maintains instrument trays/sets, instruments and supplies; updates instrument count sheets
• Provides data analysis and recommendations for improvement
• Identifies educational needs and develops programs
