Job summary

Endeavor Health in Evanston, IL is seeking a Sterile Processing Tech to join our hospital services team. This position supports sterile processing activities, decontamination, packaging and case cart setup to ensure safe patient care and efficient operations.

The role requires a GED or high school equivalency and preferred CBSPD/IAHCSMM certification, plus about two years of related experience. Rotating weekends/holidays and 7:00am-3:30pm shifts with full- and part-time options offered.

Qualifications

• GED or high school equivalent required.
• CBSPD or IAHCSMM certification preferred.
• Two years of sterile processing or operating room experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide hospital and affiliated facilities with sterile processed materials and equipment.
• Execute established procedures for decontamination, assembly, packaging, sterilization and surgical case cart setup.
• Follow established procedures to ensure decontamination completion.
• Place sterile items in appropriate areas for distribution, ensuring items are accurately labeled by department.
