AdventHealth in Sebring, FL is seeking a Sterile Processing Technician to ensure the safe sterility of instrument sets and packs for surgical use. You will operate sterilization equipment, verify records, and maintain logs in our fast-paced decontamination area.

Qualified candidates have a high school diploma, CRCST or CSPDT certification, and at least 1 year of related experience; strong attention to detail and teamwork are essential in this role within our faith-based health system.

Qualifications

• High School Grad or Equiv [Required] Technical/Vocational School [Preferred]
• Field of Study: healthcare sterile processing
• Work Experience: 1+ related experience [Preferred]

Responsibilities

• Selects materials and packaging for aseptic instrument sets.
• Operates sterilization equipment and verifies proper parameters.
• Maintains sterilizer recording charts and logs.
• Identifies, decontaminates and assembles instruments and sets.
• Communicates with departments and participates in training.
