AdventHealth in Daytona Beach, FL is seeking a dedicated Sterile Processing Technician to join our Day team. You will select materials, wrap instruments for aseptic technique, and operate sterilization equipment to ensure patient safety and readiness of tool sets.

Role includes maintaining records, recalls if needed, and collaborating with departments. Requires CRCST/CSPDT certifications and experience in sterile processing; benefits start from day one and include relocation support for eligible

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Healthcare sterile processing field of study preferred.
• CRCST and CSPDT certifications are required.
• Experience in sterile processing operations is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Selects materials and packaging for aseptic technique.
• Operates sterilization equipment and verifies parameters.
• Maintains sterilizer records and logs.
• Identifies reusable items for decontamination and cleaning.
• Assembles instruments and sets, records counts in tracking system.
• Notifies supervisors of sterilization failures and recalls.
• Communicates with hospital departments to resolve issues.
• Participates in training and rotates through decontamination areas.
